1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CampORA (campora.my), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. CampORA is operated by CampORA Malaysia. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

2. The CampORA Platform

CampORA is an online marketplace that connects campers ("Guests") with campsite and motorhome operators ("Hosts"). CampORA facilitates bookings but is not itself a campsite operator, accommodation provider, or transport company. CampORA does not own, operate, manage, or control any campsite or motorhome listed on the platform. The quality, safety, and legality of listings are the responsibility of the Host.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings on CampORA. By using the platform, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Hosts must hold valid regulatory documentation (e.g. TIA registration) where required by Malaysian law. Providing false documentation is grounds for immediate account termination.

4. Bookings and Payments

When a Guest completes a booking, a binding agreement is formed between the Guest and the Host. CampORA acts as a payment intermediary. Instant Book: For listings with Instant Book enabled, bookings are confirmed automatically upon payment. Payment Request: For listings without Instant Book, the Host must confirm the booking within the stated timeframe. Payment is only charged upon Host confirmation. Pricing: All prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) inclusive of any applicable taxes. CampORA's service fee is applied at checkout and is non-refundable unless CampORA cancels the booking.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Each listing has its own cancellation policy set by the Host. The applicable policy is displayed on the listing page before booking. Common policies: Flexible: Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before check-in Moderate: Full refund if cancelled at least 7 days before check-in Strict: 50% refund if cancelled at least 14 days before check-in; no refund within 14 days CampORA's service fee is non-refundable on completed bookings. In the event of a cancellation caused by CampORA's error, a full refund including service fee will be issued.

6. Host Responsibilities

Hosts agree to: Provide accurate, up-to-date listing information including photos, pricing, amenities, and capacity Honour all confirmed bookings Maintain the campsite or motorhome in safe, clean, and habitable condition Hold all required licences and comply with Malaysian law (including TIA registration, MOTAC guidelines, and local council requirements) Respond to guest enquiries promptly Declare any safety risks or special conditions relevant to the listing Hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and compliance with Malaysian regulations.

7. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to: Provide accurate personal information during booking Arrive and depart within the agreed times Respect the campsite, motorhome, and surrounding environment Follow all site rules communicated by the Host Not exceed the maximum guest capacity stated in the listing Report any damage, safety hazard, or incident to the Host and CampORA promptly Accept responsibility for any damage caused by their group during the stay

8. Risk Acknowledgment (RAMS)

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to uneven terrain, wildlife, weather conditions, and remote locations. By completing a booking on CampORA, you acknowledge and accept these risks. CampORA and its Hosts are not liable for injuries, loss, or damage arising from outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, or motorhome travel, except where caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of a Host. Guests are encouraged to carry appropriate travel and personal accident insurance.

9. ORA Certified Standard

The ORA Certified badge is awarded at CampORA's sole discretion based on listing quality, owner responsiveness, and compliance criteria. It is an internal quality indicator only and does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or formal certification under Malaysian law. CampORA may revoke the ORA Certified badge at any time if a listing no longer meets the standard.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute CampORA's brand assets without written permission. Hosts retain ownership of photos and content they upload, and grant CampORA a non-exclusive licence to display this content on the platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, CampORA's total liability to any user shall not exceed the value of the booking in dispute. CampORA is not liable for: Loss of enjoyment, indirect or consequential losses Acts or omissions of Hosts or Guests Circumstances beyond CampORA's reasonable control (force majeure) Third-party services including payment processors

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a Guest and a Host, both parties should first attempt to resolve it directly. If unresolved, either party may contact CampORA support at hello@campora.my. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Malaysia.
