Do I need MOTAC registration?
It's helpful but not required to get started. If you don't have MOTAC/TIA registration yet, we'll still approve you and help you navigate the process. We want to partner with you, not block you.
Can I still use WhatsApp for direct bookings?
Absolutely. We don't require exclusivity. Use CampORA for online bookings, keep WhatsApp for regulars or walk-ins. Many owners use both — CampORA reduces the WhatsApp chaos, doesn't replace it entirely.
How quickly do I get paid?
Weekly payouts, every Monday. If a camper books and completes their stay this week, you'll receive your payout (88% of booking total) the following Monday. Direct bank transfer, no manual intervention needed.
What if a camper cancels or doesn't show up?
Our cancellation policy protects both sides. Campers who cancel less than 24 hours before check-in forfeit their deposit — you still get compensated. No-shows are charged in full. You're covered.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes, you have full control. Set your nightly rate, weekend premiums, long-stay discounts. We'll provide pricing guidance based on similar sites in your area, but the final decision is yours.
What if I need help with the platform?
You have multiple support channels: in-platform help guides, email support (hello@campora.my), and for early partners, direct founder access. We're invested in your success — if you have questions, we'll answer them.
Is this only for big, established campsites?
Not at all. We work with sites of all sizes — from small family-run riverside spots to larger mountain campsites. What matters is quality and commitment, not size. If you care about your site and your campers, you're a fit.
